Sheriff: ‘The Monster is Dead’ – Suspect of GA Mass Shooting Shot and Killed Following Police Pursuit

The suspect in a two-day manhunt following a mass shooting in Georgia has been shot and killed, Jim Acosta reports for CNN. Sheriff Reginald Scandrett told reporters in a press conference Tuesday morning that suspect Andre Longmoore had been killed. Longmoore is suspected of fatally shooting three men and one woman Monday morning. It is believed that Longmoore’s identity was compromised by the fact that all four of his victims knew him. Police have not identified a motive. Several officers were injured in the shootout following Longmoore’s pursuit
