Labor Day is when firms traditionally get back down to business. Right now, everyone is getting distracted with high school and college graduations, vacations, stuff like that. Once Labor Day rolls around, firms will say ‘let’s roll up our sleeves’ and will slog it out until New Year’s. They have a renewed focus on where they want to be.
