Zen Curry & Grill in Temecula has made Yelp’s Top 100 list for 2026, released on Wednesday, Jan. 21.

“A masterclass in Indian cuisine,” “upscale feel” and “super-friendly service” are among the raves recent reviewers have given it on the social media site.

The 2026 Yelp Top 100 list includes nine restaurants in California. There are four in Los Angeles County, two in San Francisco, one in Santa Ana and one in San Diego. Zen Curry came in at No. 22.

The full service restaurant, owned by Hari Sharma, opened in 2024. It also specializes in Nepalese cuisine.

Popular dishes include butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken and coconut curry with lamb or vegetables. Plant-based options include tofu chilli.

Meals range from $19.99 to $37.99 with rack of lamb and a mixed grill sampler on the high end. Kid-friendly dishes include masala fries.

Beverages include mango lassi, Himalayan coffee, Taj Mahal Beer, wine and spirits.

Yelp sees a growing interest in Indian cuisine among its users and gave it the No. 1 spot in its list of 2026 Food and Drink Trends, released in December.

Yelp calls its Top 100 list its biggest reveal of the year. It is compiled by Yelp’s editorial staff using data from its website such as star ratings and the number of reviews.

It notes current trends such as “grandma-core,” comfort foods served in restaurants with quaint decor; Japanese and Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine; around-the-clock sandwiches; and white tablecloth, dress-to-impress dining.

Zen Curry & Grill is near Promenade Temecula, at 41653 Margarita Road, Suite 104. Hours are 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
