Steno Bolsters Its Leadership Team with Two Strategic Hires from InfoTrack and EvenUp

Steno, a tech-enabled provider of legal support and court reporting services, has brought on two experienced legal tech executives to help it continue to scale its litigation support business beyond its core court reporting roots.

The Los Angeles-based company announced today that it has hired Adam Camras as general manager and senior vice president of litigation support, and Sean Twersky as senior vice president of operations.

“Bringing in operational leaders of Adam’s and Sean’s caliber represents a pivotal step for Steno and is a clear signal that our unique approach to litigation support is working,” said Steno CEO Greg Hong.

Two Tech Veterans

Camras comes to Steno with deep credentials in the legal sector. He co-founded Lawgical, the parent to ServeNow and ServeManager, products designed for process servers, and served as its CEO through its acquisition by InfoTrack, where he became chief collaboration officer.

Lawgical was also parent to the Legal Talk Network, which produces more than 30 law-related podcasts.

At Steno, he will apply this experience building and scaling legal tech companies to oversee the growth of litigation support services, including service of process and court filing capabilities.

Twersky brings operational scaling expertise from the high-growth tech world, having held senior operations roles at EvenUp, Highlight, Sprig and Instacart. His mandate is to maintain a high level of customer service for Steno’s customers as the company grows.

The Hybrid Approach

What makes these hires particularly notable is Steno’s positioning in the market. Unlike competitors that focus exclusively on either legacy services or pure software plays, Steno is attempting to master both simultaneously.

“Most companies in our space are stuck focusing exclusively on either legacy services or pure software solutions,” Hong said. “Steno, however, is mastering both sides of that equation, creating a powerful, holistic platform that fundamentally redefines what’s possible for litigation professionals.”

Last year, Steno named another tech veteran Prabhdeep Singh, as chief operating officer. He had previously held executive roles at technology companies such as Clover, WeWork and Uber. 

Also last year, the company launched Transcript Genius, a product designed to “revolutionize how attorneys interact with transcripts.”
