SKILLS Seeks Volunteers to Help Develop and Teach KM and Innovation Curriculum

The Strategic Knowledge and Innovation Legal Leaders Summit (SKILLS), an organization of people who work in roles relating to knowledge and innovation at leading law firms, is developing a certification program and is seeking volunteers to join the faculty and help write the curriculum.

Called UpSKILLS, the certification program will cover topics related to legal technology, knowledge, innovation, AI and data. It will primarily target two groups:

Practicing lawyers transitioning into and progressing through practice support roles.
Business professionals entering or serving the legal sector, who want to build legal fluency and understand the legal operational landscape and culture.

According to Oz Benamram, founder of SKILLS, the goal is to equip them with the legal context, operational knowledge, mindset, skills and tools needed to thrive in AI, data, KM, innovation, operations and transformation roles across law firms, legal departments and legal-tech vendors.
