Cars and charity come together for a holiday cause – Orange County Register

Cars and a good cause were aplenty Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Impalas Car Club Orange County’s 15th annual Toys for Tots event.

Hosted in Anaheim, the event, as the club put it on social media, featured “beautiful customized lowriders, bombs, lowrods (and) trucks” on display for car aficionados and event attendees alike.

The annual show collects items for Toys for Tots, a program of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that collects and distributes toys to disadvantaged children at Christmas.

“Let us all stay the course and continue being the good part of this cruel world,” Impalas OC said in an Instagram post promoting the event. “Let’s all spread positivity, love and kindness this holiday season.”

Prizes were awarded to car show participants in various categories. The club also hosted other toy drives in Buena Park and Santa Ana this holiday season.
