47-year-old man fatally shot outside Highland business – Press Enterprise

A 47-year-old man was fatally shot outside a business in Highland early Sunday.

Around 12:02 a.m., deputies responded to reports of gunshots heard at the establishment at 25496 East Baseline Street. The victim, Gabriel Torres Jimenez of Highland, was pronounced dead at the scene, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.

The suspect, described as an unknown male, has not been located. Details on the motive and circumstances leading up to the shooting were unavailable.
